This self-assessment is designed to help individuals reflect on patterns of impulsive anger, emotional reactivity, and loss of control that may impact relationships, work, and daily life.
Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED) is not simply “anger issues.” It involves sudden, intense emotional reactions that are often out of proportion to the situation and difficult to control in the moment.
These reactions are typically unplanned and may be followed by guilt, shame, or regret.
This tool is for self-awareness and education, not diagnosis.
Only a licensed mental health professional can diagnose IED. The goal is to help individuals better understand their emotional patterns and identify areas where support and skill-building may be helpful.
